AngProfileColorIt’s almost 2016, can you believe it? I know a lot of you have followed my fitness journey since the beginning and if you have – bravo! If you have ever tried to lose weight or get in shape, you know what happens when you start to slack off. It’s a slippery slope and it’s super easy to fall off the bandwagon once you get started! For me, my undoing was Halloween and I’ve never quite recovered. Lots of sugary foods – candy, cookies, cake (my youngest daughter’s birthday is in December), and every other goody you can imagine relating to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. As a result, I have seen a 15 pound weight gain in just a matter of months! YIKES!!!

So the good news here is that I am a real person (not one of those fictional models who uses camera angles and lighting tricks to make it look like I lost weight) and I also am not too proud to admit when I need to get my sh*t together. 😉 So this is my moment of truth – I’ve spilled the beans that I have gone WAY off track and that I need to get my a$$ into gear! The Master's Hammer and Chisel Challenge PackSo my plan is this: Starting January 4th, I will be embarking on a new fitness regimen using Beachbody’s latest workout: The Master’s Hammer and Chisel. This is an advanced cardio and strength training program designed to shred fat and sculpt lean muscle. It’s great for both men and women but you do need to have a base level of fitness to really do this program, as well as some equipment such as weights, a stability ball OR a bench, bands, plus a few other tools that couldn’t hurt to have. I am going to use the workout room in my office complex so I won’t have to purchase any equipment, although I also have access to our local gym (but I prefer to do workouts like this peace).
